THE BRIEF
Redesign Morphy, The Global Consumer Layer’s koala mascot, using AI to create a strong identity and refreshed style that would connect with the Web3 audience, standing out on social media and at events.
THE CHALLENGE
Capture Morphy’s essence as a friendly, charismatic character embodying The Global Consumer Layer’s mission to unite technology and empathy. Every visual aspect of Morphy needed to be reimagined to convey his role in enhancing the Web3 ecosystem, creating an engaging 3D animation style suited to the digital landscape.
THE EXPERIENCE
From the first sketch to his big social media debut, we reimagined Morphy as the hero Web3 needed. With AI and a lot of creativity, we crafted every detail of his personality and style: his friendly gaze, his clothing, and even his unique way of moving. Using Midjourney, Runway, and LUMA, we brought him to life in 3D under our team’s creative direction, ensuring every expression and gesture reflected his mission to make Web3 a better place.
Morphy quickly became a social media star, with videos showcasing his adventures and his role in improving the Web3 ecosystem. We also created a special video to announce his presence at the prestigious Token2049 event in Singapore, and we created a video to the final celebration at the ArtScience Museum, where Morphy stole the show alongside DJs and the community. Morphy has become more than just a mascot—he’s a unique and powerful presence in the Web3 world.
